Delhi, February 21, 2018: Rana Kapoor, Managing Director & CEO, YES BANK has been nominated on the Board of the Management of Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), Delhi. The Commerce Secretary, Ms. Rita Teaotia, in her capacity as Chairman of the Board of IIFT has made this nomination.
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was set up in 1963 by the Government of India as an autonomous organisation to help professionalise the country’s foreign trade management and increase exports by developing human resources, analysing and disseminating data and conducting research.
The Board of Management is a select team of seasoned experts from the industry, Government bodies and academia who convene at regular intervals to provide strategic guidance to the Institute. Other members on the Board include Prof. Manoj Pant, Director, IIFT & Chairman, BOM, Dr. Anup Wadhawan, Additional Secretary, Dept. of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Shri Alok Vardhan Chaturvedi, Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Shri Vinod K. Jacob, Joint Secretary (ED), Ministry of External Affairs, Shri Pankaj Patel, President, FICCI,
Prof. Raj S. Dhankar, Vice-Chancellor, Amity University, Raipur, and Prof. Shekhar Chaudhuri, Former Director, IIM Kolkata.
