Mumbai, May 2, 2017: Mr. Rana Kapoor, Managing Director and CEO, YES BANK, and Chairman, YES Institute, was felicitated by the Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri CH Vidyasagar Rao and the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, for his ‘commitment to the development of the State of Maharashtra’. He was felicitated at the Maharashtra Vaibhav event, organised to mark the 57th Maharashtra Day, held at the Raj Bhawan on May 1, 2017.
On this occasion, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Maharashtra, congratulated all awardees for their enduring contribution to the State in different walks of life, to be emulated by others. He also spoke about the Government of Maharashtra working towards skill development of Youth and samruddhi of farmers.
The Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, Shri CH Vidyasagar Rao appreciated the contributions of the awardees to the State of Maharashtra.
Speaking about the recognition, Mr. Rana Kapoor, Managing Director and CEO, YES BANK, and Chairman, YES Institute, said, “It is a great honour, and I feel humbled to have received this prestigious recognition by the Government of Maharashtra. The other individuals felicitated included eminent doctors, students, social entrepreneur, theatre personality and journalist. The event was attended by leading industrialists, bureaucrats, consulate members, ministers and professionals from the performing arts.
